Summer Is Almost Here!

Katelynn's last day of Pre-K is tomorrow. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Her school is just one more awesome thing about us moving here. Her teachers have been great at getting her excited about learning and going to school. She went from only knowing a couple letters in August to reading her little books now! At first we were worried because up until Pre-K we didn't stress about "getting her ready", we just wanted her to build her imagination and socializing. We think it is so new to her she is absorbing everything she hears.

Today I went into school to give her teachers our gift which was a quilt I put together with pictures that each parent sent me. It turned out awesome and the teachers loved it. The last couple days have been camp days. They had a real tent in the classroom for reading time and they were able to bring their sleeping bags to chill on while they read their own books and socialize. They also made tie dye shirts with each of their signatures and had s'mores yesterday.

Below are pictures of their time today along with Mr. Stud, Dominic. Ms Vogel insisted I take him out of the stroller and he totally went right into to having fun with all the big kids, by laughing and entertaining the whole class. He even tried going into Kindergarten class next store to see Katelynn's best friend Suscha from our street. When he was done he chilled himself while reading a book.
