Another great thing about Salvo was that the beach was so open. You could let the kids run and have fun without running into another group for 1/2 mile or more. We enjoyed watching the kids play in the water and sand.
Katelynn decided to be the big girl and just go out to the ocean like she knew what she was doing. And she did... just playing and swimming.
Dominic on the other hand was where Katelynn was years ago. We put him at the edge of the water and he began to scream. He went up a little further with this face towards the ocean not too happy.
Then the water came up to him and he was done. He started trucking up the beach yelling "All done pool, all done pool" He walked all the way to the top of the dune. Then he did sit with Uncle Rick for a little bit and finally settled in the sand and played with the toys
Uncle Rick's sand castle with help from the kids decorations of sea shells. We had to end the day due to storms that rolled in.
