We decided to surprise Poppa and Momma S. (as my parents were called by friends growing up). We found out that the kids, who live down the street from us growing up, were at the Outer Banks for a family reunion the same week, so we invited them to our house for our annual beach crab feast. Mom and Dad were surprised and really enjoyed the time with them and catching up.
Everyone was in the kitchen watching Dan and Rick cook the live crabs.
Then we sat down and enjoyed eating and teaching those new to eating blue crabs.
