This is the day the Lord has made: Week 5

What an amazing day to celebrate Dom completing 5+ weeks of radiation. He had treatment every week day and only had one bad day the whole time. He brought such joy to the radiation wing. He was the only child down there. He brought smiles and laughter to everyone he encountered. Enjoy some pictures from the day.

At the end of your treatment, each patient gets to ring the bell. He was SOOOO excited to get to this day!

These are his amazing therapist that took care of him each day. They surprised him by getting Dom Squad t shirts and wearing them on his last day.

We are blessed with amazing parents and extended family that have supported us through this all. Thankful our parents could join in on this day.

Dom has such a great personality and it showed through when the clown Doctors came to visit on his last day of radiation. Dom stepped right in and joined in on the fun.

Dom is so excited to be able to bless his medical team, along with random people he choose at the hospital. We chose to do 26 separate ones in celebration of his 26 treatments. He brought smiles and joy to all 26 recipients.

When he gave the flowers to her, she shared with her friend, how last week Dom touched her when he walked by the main waiting room, waved and said, have a great day everyone. Little did he know he would have her in his area this week. He then called me over to get her email so she could tell us the day she will ring the bell, so maybe we could come.
