In addition to finishing school she also finished Awanas at church. It is a program she does on Wednesdays where they have to memorize verses and do different activities. She learned about 20+ verses this year. She now loves to open her bible and read verses she learned. They also memorized the books of the bible, so she can navigate some what to find certain verses. One thing she really grasped this year was prayer. She prays for everyone in her life daily. And has seen God's hands in situations she has prayed about. Thanking and apologizing to God depending on the situation. She has also started to share how important God is to her with her friends. As I have said in the past, she is one of the gifts in my life from God. Children have so much passion, it teaches us old farts how we can rekindle that passion.
While Bozo was getting ready for the circus, Gabriella was practicing with a towel rod for the play!
She finished up dance with her recital and she did a great job remembering her routine since this year they had to do it on stage without the teacher. And if you didn't know Katelynn is in the middle-front. My poor mom didn't recognize her at first without her bangs. She loved dance, but since we only allow her to do one thing a year she wants to to gymnastics again next year.
Oh what recess can teach a little one. She has mastered the monkey bars and is so excited to go on any we come across. This was at Dan's school when we went to watch his lacrosse game.
Helping daddy coach lacrosse. She has a vested interest, since Dan recently got her a stick and she loves to go out and throw with him.
OK, we have a park nearby that has a roller coaster that has been there for 2+years. Every time we pass it she tells me she wants to go one day. Finally we go there the other day for her to finally ride this roller coaster after a year of telling us. While waiting in the line she hears people scream, looks at me and says she really doesn't want to ride right now. Dan's face was the classic, why are we here? We then went inside and she played Dan in a game of air hockey.
