God on our side

I let Dom's teacher know that if she feels it is appropriate, Dom could share with the class what he has been going through. Up until the last couple weeks he has shared every step along the way with his class. On Monday, his teacher asked him if he wanted to tell the class about his results, and he said he wasn't ready. Then, yesterday, he told her he was ready to share. Afterwards, both 4th grade teachers came to Dan and said how amazed they were that he got up in front of both 4th grade classes and clearly articulated what he is about to go through and why. He told the class to join the Dom Squad. As they went back to class, one of his classmates was crying. His teacher went to check on her and she said she was sad that Dom would be in pain. Then Dom went up to her, gave her a hug and said, "It's OK, at least we have God on our side. And you're part of the Dom Squad". Then he proceeded to hug each classmate. His teacher told us "He is stronger than what we can ever imagine! Just thinking about the joy and life that exudes out of my Dom brings me to tears!!". We would have to agree and we love watching our boy take this trial and use it to educate and bless others.
